HD:  **SOLD OUT** Managing a Mixed Linux and Windows Environment

**SOLD OUT** This hands-on lab will not cover 'when and if' material, but rather concentrate on the "how". One of the topics covered will include how the servers were configured for the end of the class. Another item discussed will be using Linux clients with both Linux and Windows infrastructure. Open standardizing the glass house and the windows desktop will be outlined. This class will be taught by using Mandrake 9.2. A demo of VMWare and Codeweavers will also be presented.

LEVEL:
Beginner to Intermediate - assumed to be Technical Managers

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

»   A working, bootable cdrom drive
»   An ethernet 10/100 card
»   128 MB memory minimum (more is better)
»   300 Mhz or faster AMD/Intel processor (faster is better)
»   1024x768 or larger screen

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
There are no software requirements: Bootable CD-ROMS with all software being used will be provided in the class.
